EMBROIDERY AS A FASHION TREND

I've been seeing a lot of embroidered fashion items lately...

Whether it's Gucci's floral jeans or Steve Madden's embroidered booties, this trend is making me very happy and "proud" of my attraction to this old-fashioned form of art.

I am certainly more used to embroidering patterns in canvas made for that purpose (like Aida cloth). With that being said, all these goodies are inspiring me to explore the possibilities that embroidery offers.
